In the 12th century, on this site stood a farm and a mill known as "des Brouillards". This name comes from the water vapors emanating from the many springs of this small plateau, which in contact with the fresh air formed a coat of mist in the landscape.

The famous singer Dalida finds her home base in Montmartre where she settles in the 1960s. Between her private mansion and the shops of rue Lepic, she does not leave the Butte dear to her heart until her death. His bust, by the French sculptor Alain Aslan, is erected in the small eponymous square.

Built in 1926, the Villa Léandre is picturesque: privileged and discreet dead end, it was born on the ruins of the most famous maquis of Paris. Its small Anglo-Norman style houses, cobblestones and gardens are very popular with French film stars.

We enjoy a nice stroll in the streets of Montmartroises, settling on a bench next to the bust of Dalida to admire the view of the hill.
